I graduated (MBBS) from Allama Iqbal Medical College Lahore, Pakistan in 2008. I subsequently moved to UK and started working as a junior doctor in medicine. I completed my foundation programme and core medical training in Mersey deanery while rotating through various hospitals in the region.
I obtained membership of Royal College of Physicians (MRCP) in 2013.
In August 2013,I gained my national training number in cardiology in Mersey Deanery. I have a passion for teaching and have been heavily involved in various local and national educational events. I am currently working as clinical research fellow doing PhD in Interventional cardiology at Keele University, Stoke-on-Trent.
I am a diehard Manchester city fan, and I enjoy playing (but increasingly now watching) football and cricket. I am a keen and thoroughly amateur photographer and spend my free time socialising with friends and family.
